According to a funky internet test consisting of discovering which Guatemalan legendary creature you are, I found out I am the Siguamonta.

I don't think Guatemalan horror stories are that well known, so let me take this opportunity to tell you about it.
Of course, it is a bird. I did not cheat on the test, it came out like that.

The Siguamonta is the result of the mixture of other legends, but basically, it is a bird that hides in the night and attracts children with its distinctive song. Then, it either leads them to their own death or itself brutally murders them.
Its tale was used to prevent children from running away or wandering the surrounding forests during the night.

A Geococcyx velox or Lesser Roadrunner is the most agreed shape the Siguamonta has. At least, it is the bird that everyone uses when speaking about the Siguamonta.

Cheers to Guate, one of my favourite countries in the world.

These are the things I occupy myself with instead of working on my thesis.
