Tidal Wave

As a gently gesture, life has just gotten me soaked. And I didn't even graduate this year (for the joke to be understood, there is a tradition here in St. Andrews that states every graduate must be soaked with all kinds of "wet" stuff -water, soda, tea, glitter- the moment he/she finishes his/her last exams and is completely free from this institution).

But seriously, as what I want to think has been a kind loving action, today has been comedy. Pure comedy.

Adam and I went for ice ream at Jannetta's and afterwards went for a stroll on the beach. As expected our legs guided us to the Pier, place beloved same ways for both of us. We sat at the very end where the waves crash agains the sturdy stone wall and talked for at least an hour. About love, sex, life, religion, friends, sex again.
And then, without any warning and completely out of the blue, a massive almost three meters tall wave abruptly crashed against the corner of the Pier, jumped on top of us and finally fell down in our heads, soaking un from top to bottom.

We had to lay in the grass for another hour. We were shocked. And dying of cold and laughter. And surprised. And ridiculously happy.

Thanks for this, tidal wave.
